I made these cards some years ago for New year. I love the vintage look they give, and the simplicity of the print. All i did was, just to cut these printed cards and mount them on card stock paper.

This basket of roses has a long story. The bamboo basket carried the wedding cake of a family friend. The organdy netting also came with a wedding cake. We ate all the cake, so i had to fill the basket :) Roses are made of crepe paper and tooth picks.
I decided to hang it from my favourite handle holder from Lanka Hands.
Indian embriodery on greeting cards.
The blue starts are hand stictched with sequins and tubes on Black satin cloth. The other one has Mirror work done in multi colours. Both works are mounted on scrap-book paper.

The silver ash tray is a family treasure (a family of non-smokers :), passed on to my mother after her Aunt. The black accesory container is a wonderful piece of art carved in Ebony, my youngest sister got it in Delhi, India. Those black beads are from one of the mobile paasi mani shops run by gypsies at Besant Nagar beach in Chennai, India.
These are my new range of hand-made, hand-painted greeting crads, made out of very inexpensive materials.
These are fabric colour paintings; had some bottles of hardened fabric colour which i got years ago; added a little water to make them watery. I've tried different water colouring techniques to give the cards a variety.

The base of the paintings are a bunch of un-used recycled paper blank visiting cards; also something I got some years back and didn't use.

I've mounted the visiting card paintings on vibrants colours of school scrap-book paper.

Sprayed some watery fabric paint using an old tooth brush to create the background impression.
I like the shades of these colours. I feel they go so very well with each other.

A butterfly tries to think out of the box :)

Used a small ball of cotton dipped in violet fabric Paint for the background

I painted this bottle of flowers on wet paper.

My favourite. They look so peaceful and simple.

The Sun and Moon. Used very bright colours with some Gold ink.
